Position: Global Sales Representative  

Salary: £TBA + Commission

Location: Hybrid Working

We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity within our growing business.

Day to day tasks:

Sales development. Calling cold leads, prospects, and potential clients. Developing, building & maintaining relationships. Scheduling meetings and planning visits. Recording data in company sales software and submitting regular sales reports.

Instrumental in the growth and development of a start-up. Happy to operate in a start-up environment, working from a blank canvas. To manage their day-to-day activities and execute their sales responsibilities with a motivated, enthusiastic, and winning attitude.

A genuine, charismatic person, who represents the business with professionalism and positive energy.

Previous experience or interest in the aviation industry is desirable, but not essential.

The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience and a proven track-record in sales.

Purpose of Role:

  • Managing the sales process across all company products.
  • Sales calls – cold, warm, and hot leads/prospects.
  • Recording all sales activity in the company sales software.
  • Business development – identifying needs and requirements and drive new business and opportunities.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to grow the business in new and existing markets to ensure business objectives are met.
  • Monitor the charter sales email and respond to new business before passing on to the broker team.
  • Attend sales visits to domestic & International customers as required.
  • Liaise with customers on their enquiries in a timely manner and develop a proactive sales process to maximise profitability in cooperation with the brokers.
  • Effectively liaise with departments on operational and performance matters.
  • Be available outside of normal working hours to assist new & existing customers.
  • Record of all charter enquiries generated by sales effort.
  • Brief the operations/broker teams on the client requirements.
  • Monitor the operational execution of bookings and follow up for feedback and customer satisfaction surveys.
  • Use initiative to identify new potential areas for business development.
  • Expand the global client portfolio to attract more business opportunities.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with new business leads to maximise business opportunities and increase client loyalty.
  • Complete market research – reporting to the director on trends and demands
  • Keep up to date with competitor activity to identify business opportunities.
  • Keep up to date with activities of customers using the appropriate network of communication.
  • Pre-empting and re-acting to market changes
  • Participate in meetings to ensure effective sharing of information and full awareness of others in the charter sales department and other areas of the business.
  • Keep up to date with activities within the company product scope.
  • Pro-actively keep customers updated with one-way availabilities, company updates.
  • Treat all sensitive data with care and in a confidential and professional manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • At all times to ensure that legal and commercial risks (to the extent relevant to the post holder role) are identified and minimized through effective communication with company directors.
  • To carry out any other duties within the competence of the role holder, as requested (including additional working hours as and when required).
  • To travel when required in line with business needs.
  • Keep up to date with industry changes, procedures and requirements relating to job role.
